Leg pain, a pervasive and often limiting ailment, can significantly impede one’s ability to lead a full and active life.
Dr. Jacob Henricksen graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, the very first Chiropractic college, in Davenport Iowa.
Dr. Henricksen is originally from a small town in Southeast Alaska. He started his undergraduate studies at the University of Alaska Anchorage in Anchorage, AK and then completed his undergraduate at Palmer College of Chiropractic receiving his Bachelor of Science degree.
Dr. Henricksen is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Parts I, II, III, IV and Physiotherapy.
Dr. Henricksen completed a clinical internship in Chicago Illinois at the Spine and Sports Center of Chicago with access to the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. During his time in Chicago he treated plenty of the city’s famous athletes, the hardworking people that keep the city moving, and of course, many wonderful families. He has treated patients ranging from 1 week old to 102 years old.
Dr. Henricksen has been an integral part of interdisciplinary settings involving chiropractic, physical therapy and medical care. These experiences have helped him understand the large spectrum of health, wellness and musculoskeletal conditions leading to his specialty working with the spine and extremities.
Dr. Henricksen has continued his education by obtaining a growing list of additional certifications, diagnostic tools, and adjusting techniques, including his Certification of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT).
Dr. Henricksen is an outdoorsman who enjoys weightlifting, running and spending time with friends and loved ones. From time to time, he has been known to enjoy delicious baked treats, incredible food and amazing coffee. However! He thoroughly believes in practicing what he preaches from a health and wellness standpoint.
Dr. Henricksen is excited to serve Lutz and the surrounding communities.
